Historic New Harmony
Description

Join Historic New Harmony at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 23 for our next Talking History gathering at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art, 506 Main Street. Our first topic for 2025 is the Wabash River. This program coincides with the NHGCA's new exhibit on the waterways of Indiana, "Infinite Gauge: Makenzie Goodman and Adam Stacey," which opens on Saturday, January 11.

The Wabash River has played an important role in New Harmony's history. How has the Wabash shaped life in town? What are your memories of the river? What changes to the river have you seen over time?

We welcome community members, visitors to town and anyone else interested in New Harmony’s history to this gathering. For more information, contact Heidi Taylor-Caudill at hltaylorca@usi.edu or 812-270-6133.
